Plasma Pen VS Surgery
First, the technician will be applying a topical anesthetic cream which will ensure guest comfort. This will minimize risk of pain or discomfort. The cream will sit on the client for 20 minutes for numbing to take place on the treated area. 20-30 minutes depending on the area. The duration of the treatment including numbing time is 60-90. This will depend on how large the area is being treated, for example treating stretch marks on the stomach will take additional time compared to a lip or eye treatment.
Treatment Time
Fibroblast-Skin Tightening is a NON-invasive procedure with minimal level of pain. It is virtually painless, as the treated area is numbed before the treatment. After the treatment the treated area might be slightly reddish and some clients may experience some swelling (only for areas around the eyes) . At the site of each spot a small crust will form. They should not be touched and you should wait for 4–5 days for them to fall off naturally. During the procedure the clients may feel some discomfort, not actual pain, depending on the treated area of the face/body.
What Does It Feel Like?
Dermaplaning is a popular treatment that removes facial peach fuzz and dead skin cells to create a soft, smooth complexion. “Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a surgical scalpel to gently exfoliate the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair,”
Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive procedure that shaves away the top layers of your skin. It can help reduce the appearance of acne scars or pitted skin. Some people get dermaplaning to remove unwanted hair.

Non invasive treatment that exfoliates the surface of the skin, removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz. Dermaplanning is also used to treat light scarring, acne scars and helps the skin look smoother.
Dermaplaning
Apply aftercare ointment on your lips several times a day, and liberally before showering, eating, brushing teeth and before bed.
Clean the lips before bed and in the morning throughout the healing procedure with a gentle cleanser. keep any soaps with active ingredients off the lip area.
Follow the White T-shirt diet for at least 4-5 days. If it will stain a white shirt, it can stain and change the color of your lips. So no yellow mustard, red wine, spaghetti sauce etc. Coffee through a straw is the safest bet.
Avoid toothpaste and mouthwash from touching the lips, so please apply aftercare balm liberally before and use caution.
DO NOT PICK SCABS. If you pull scabs off your lips prematurely it risks pulling the newly implanted pigment with it.
If you are prone to cold sores, you must finish your antiviral medication regimen in order to reduce the chances of getting a cold sore. Although we cant guarantee you wont get a cold sore, this will help.
Keep the area clean, this is an open wound. Do not touch with dirty fingers or allow animals to lick your lips.
Avoid public swimming pools until fully healed. Avoid kissing until scabs have completely healed and flaked off.
Although it is difficult to keep the lips dry, Try to drink through a straw and avoid direct water to the lips until they have completed their initial peel.
Avoid using lipstick, gloss or previously used products on the lips. No tint, glitter or scent until the lips have completely healed.
Lips will be tender after the procedure, avoid overstretching your lips. Small bites of food for the first few days will be much more comfortable. Avoid spicy or salty foods as they can cause discomfort on the open wound.
Do not bleach your teeth for at least 2-3 weeks after treatment.
Avoid sunlight and tanning beds for at least 4 weeks. Wearing an SPF on your lips will prolong the color.
You can expect moderate swelling and pain for for 1-3 days post procedure. Here are some things you can do to alleviate some of the side effects.
Take Ibuprofen after the procedure for pain. You may also use Benadryl for swelling but please wait until you are home to avoid driving drowsy.
Apply ice to the area but only for 15 minutes in an hour period. So 15 minutes on 45 minutes off. Make sure the ice pack is covered as to not get the lips wet.
Sleeping slightly elevated may help prevent swelling. Swelling should dissipate within 2-3 days.

We understand that circumstances arise that do not allow you to keep your appointment, but please remeber to be courteous to us as we are a small business and our clients are often on a waiting list, by calling us no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment to cancel if you cannot make it, this enables us to make sure other clients don’t miss out on potential appointments.
The following policies apply:
Cancellations:
You must call no later than 24 hours prior to your appiontment by calling the salon. A friendly reminder text is sent out 48 hours prior to your booking to help you avoid any cancellation fees, however, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid any late arrivals, missed appointments or no-show fees. Cancelling or rescheduling less than 24 hours before your appointment will incur either a 50% charge of your total booking cost or a loss of a previously paid deposit. With enough notice, we will endeavour to fill your appiontment prior to adding the charge to your account where applicable. Any decsision to waive any fees will be made at managements absolute discretion.
No Shows:
If there are 2 or more no-shows to any appointment, we will then require a 50% deposit to be paid over the phone prior to booking any future appointments. If 3 or more no-shows occur your 50% deposit will be forfeited. No refunds will be made for cancelling 24 hours prior to your appiontment.
